Any idea how I can a copy of the Kingdom Bound Jams 2003 CD?

August 25, 2008
Will,
You played guitar on a studio session (maybe Phil Driscoll or Johnny Taylor for Malaco?) at Muscle Shoals Sound back in 1995, and I was assistant engineer. I was looking through a publication of Kingdom Bound 2007 and saw that you were a speaker there, and I recognized you. I have since become a Christian, and I still remember your Godly ways and gentle spirit from those sessions. I am now a Marketing Director at Word Entertainment in Nashville and just wanted to say hello! Alan

Sow your show at Kingdom Bound at Darien Lake, NY. (08/04/08) What a great performance. You guys had the tent a moving. What a great sound. My family, my youth group and I were captivated by the music. You had the youth dancing in the aisles. Many had never heard of this style of music before. I was blessed at the great sound and the powerful message of your songs. Keep up the great work for the Kingdom of God.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful gifts Sunday at Bethesda--what a pleasent surprise to say the least!
I wasn't certain if I was going to be able to make it to Kingdom Bound this year.
I'm beginning to see how He really works!
God blessed me by bring you here... I got a little piece of it just in case I can't make the Big Gig.
Thouroughly enjoyed your "radical" message. Spoke volumes...recently I've made some drastic changes in my own life to get back to that " root." The radical, fanatical transition.. Leaving many heads spining.. was in such dire straights to get back to those innate ideals.
Your message and song "I am listening"
convicted my heart and have great hope my relationship can also be restored.
Can't thank you enough!!

I loved hearing you sing, play and speak at Houghton camp. It was a wonderful thing to hear some great music during a church service because so much Christian music is ...umm...less than musically inspiring. Thanks...

Wow, it's such a trip back to another life to find your site. I used to do a christian music program on sunday afternoons on a public station up in northwest wisconsin. Started every show with A Psalm to the Father and ended with Now That You've Heard the Truth. Really enjoyed those albums and those times. There is just too little good music today. We live in NC now, & I see lots of dates on your calendar in the region. I'll check back and we'll come out & see you.

Hey Will,
I'm betting you don't remember me, but you probably remember my older sister Gwen from Calvary Temple back in the early/mid 80's. I've always loved your music & have looked up your site from time to time. Recently her husband died & I was looking through my old photos & found one of me & you in about '85 when you were in Jersey for a concert, I believe. It's good to see pics of you, Janet & the kids. You guys haven't changed...well, I guess Willie & Nellie are much older, but you & Janet are still just as great looking as ever! Just wanted to say hi & let you know we still think of you. God Bless your ministry & music that has touched lives, including mine. I remember watching you play at your house for hours & loving every minute of it. I will keep up with your calendar & perhaps try to see you play the next time you're in Florence again. Take care!

Hey Will, it was a pleasure to sit in onr you session this past weekend at CMS. Thanks for sharing the idea of studying "rejoice" in Psalms and how every reference has a demonstrable action. That's great stuff.
Thanks to for advocating freedom in worship. I'm a place that I can be free. The style is "hosana", but that's great considering where we came from. With imagination, though, there is a lot of freedom for expression in that style.
Keep claiming the air! I know I will!
See you in August at Kingdom Bound

I saw you at the CMS in Buffalo this weekend. Your jam session with Tom Lane, Rick Crua, etc. was (for me) one of the highlights of the weekend. I bought both of you discs, and I already know the songs I'm going to try to learn. At the conference, you were energetic, inspirational and refreshing. I'm looking forward to seeing you somewhere again (coming back next year?).

Hey Will,
I was searching for my own blog and ran across you. I am in Minnesota and part of a large McFarlane Clan with roots in Jamaica, Cuba, & Africa. We are New World Africans. Some of us live in England, having immigrated there from Jamaica. We are first generation Americans. Our father and his brothers and sisters were born in Cuba and rasied in Jamaica. We don't quite know the Irish or Scotch connection for our family name. The family legend is that we are descendants of the British pirate, Captain Henry Morgan. But i don't really know. Anyway, please to meet you. I am a writer and publisher in Minnesota. My brother Wain McFarlane is huge HUGE in music...he is the founder and heart of Ipso Facto, a Minnesota based reggae band with several records to their credit.
Do you have any family connections to Jamaica?
Best Wishes...God Bless

Will,
i'm glad I finally found your site. As I read your guestbook I am amazed that so many people have the same memories of you that I do.
I met you in the Early 80's when you did a show for the students at hardin County Jr High in Savannah (back in the good old days). The song "Heart of Stone" and your testimony touched me so much I still remember it like it was yesterday 26 years later. I bougt a "colony of Heaven" cassette and wore it out (can you buy it on CD now?) .
Anyway, I feel blessed by your music and to have met youand pray for God's continued blessings on you and your family. Joey

Will,
nice site! Great to see you are doing well and cool seeing recent photos of you, Janet and the kids (and now grandkids-Wow!) I'm re-married and living in the fantastic music town of Athens, Ga., and absolutely loving my life!! Hope to trek your way sometime and perhaps catch you at a gig. I miss hearing that soulful "Will Mac" guitar that I grew up on! (..still trying to figure out your "Let Me Live" solo -- after all the years in the biz must say that's probably my all-time favorite piece of fretboard work!)
Please tell Janet, Jamie, Robbie and Nellie "hello" from me. And if you're ever in Athens, please look me up!

Hello Will,
I am sure you probably don't remember, but I met you once back in 1993 when you played at a weekend youth retreat in NB, Canada. I first came to the Lord that weekend, and although I fell away for 14 years, He has brought me back home with Him in my driver's seat. Praise God, He has also called me to be a worship leader now - I play lead guitar for Crossview, the worship band at Mountain View Community Church in Culpeper, VA. Just wanted to stop by and say hello, and thank you for being an instrument chosen by God to lead me home to Him thru Christ Jesus, our Lord.
In Christ,
Chris

Will, I met you about 16 years ago when you were playing at an event in Chipley, Florida. I think it was called "It's a Good Friday." We talked about yor family some of which were already in teenage years I think. I had a 5, 3 and 1 yr old at the time. Now they are 21, 19, 17, 15, and 12. Most of what you talked about was the importance of demonstrating affection for your children-hugging your sons and such. I never forgot your comments. Of course my two oldest who are girls are ok with hugs from daddy. But the thing I am thankful for is that my 6' 7'' 17 yr old, 6' 2'' 15 yr old and 5' 9'' 12 yr old are ok with the hugs. That is because they have been hugged since they were small guys on your very timely advice. The other thing we talked about that day was the direction of "christian music." You bemoaned the direction as moving toward a shallowness the best I can remember. What made me look for your website tonight was a conversation with my 17 year-old that has moved toward music which is probably for the most part well done, but not necessarily redemptive in nature. A lot are old classics from rock -n- roll and then some of the independent stuff. Very little is "christian." He explained that most of the "christian" stuff on our local christian stations is no more than "boy bands" singing shallow music. It is hard to argue with him. When he made the comment I told him that there was this guy (you) I met once that had said this was where it was going. Made me think of our conversation and I looked for you. God bless you. Thanks for the advice you gave to a young lawyer with a young family so long ago. I felt a kinship of spirit in that conversation and even now as I close in on 50 recall our conversation with fondness.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased a USB turntable to get my albums converted to digital. I had a Colony of Heaven gathering dust in my garage and converted it to digital. WOW! Does that bring back memories! I kinda lost touch of you and your ministry but a Colony of Heaven reminded me of all the encouragement it provided when i was at Washington Bible College. I sampled some of your new music and I definately am going to get more ENCOURAGEMENT with you music (albeit 23 years later). Thank You! the Lord bless.

Greetings Will,
Was thinking of you as my wife and I were reading John's letters this week and I remembered your song "This is the message we heard from the start - that we should love one another." Also I was having trouble remembering "Colony of Heaven." I used to open for you and Lenny in Huntsville at the Civic Center and the little Central Presbyterian Church downtown with a four-piece band called Straight Street. We were there the night they returned your stolen white Strat with the red pickguard - you were one happy picker. God bless ans stay the course! Stan

I talked with you at Kingdom Bound near Buffalo, asking about your other CD's and looking forward to you updating your website, although it looks pretty nice now. Love your music, keeping recording, and I'll keep buying. See you next year at Kingdom Bound if the Lord wills. Arlene

We've finally found you!
I've wondered what happened to you for years, since I bought the album "Right from the Start" back in the early '80's. That album is still one of my very favorite Christian music albums: the music and the lyrics are sensational, and I've used it for witnessing many times! (I bought your next album, and its probably around here some place with other vinyls). Since then we lost track of you till I stumbled across this website. I certainly don't think you've toured up around these parts (Seattle), which is too bad for us. A couple years ago I thought I might have spied you playing guitar on Phil Driscoll's TV show... was that you? (That was an awesome show... what happened to it?)
Last week we went to Nashville and I thought I might find some of your music in the stores there (had just discovered this website), but no luck. We hope to see you in concert up close and personal sometime. I personally think Christian blues/rock is the Holy Ghost in top form! Keep smokin' on that guitar for Jesus!
